The helmet is vital, mandatory and necessary! Of course, it is only useful if it is worn on the head and tied correctly. Two helmets of different sizes are available in the top case of each scooter.

It is recommended (depending on the country mandatory) to wear approved gloves (recognizable by the CE label and the presence of the logo of a motorcycle) for the driver as well as for his passenger. Wearing a thick jacket and closed shoes is also strongly recommended.
Alcohol, drugs and medication
Do not ride the scooter if you are in no condition to drive. Alcohol is one of the leading causes of death on the road: even at low doses, it acts directly on the brain and the risk of an accident is real. The mixture of drugs and alcohol multiplies by 29 the risk of having a serious accident. Medication and fatigue are also risk factors. Other means of transport exist to move around safely.
Smartphone and headphones
The use of a mobile phone held in the hand, just like wearing a sound-emitting device in the ear (earpiece, headset, earpiece), will be sanctioned by a fine that can range from 135€ to 200€ depending on the country and a withdrawal of up to 6 points from the driver's license. YEGO scooters are equipped with a phone holder so that you can be guided while keeping both hands on the handlebars.
