LET'S BUILD A BETTER FUTURE TOGETHER
YEGO wishes to actively contribute to the ecological transition by offering an electric, clean and sustainable urban transport service to all.
To fulfill our mission, we came up with 10 public commitments that we are committed to uphold in all of our operations.
Thanks to precise and transparent indicators, we measure all the environmental impacts of our activities: from the purchase of raw materials for the vehicles to the charging of their batteries.
#1 ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING
#2 TOWARDS ZERO CARBON
When in use, our scooters do not emit CO2 since they are 100% electric. However, YEGO's activities, as well as the use of our scooters, cause direct and indirect CO2 emissions that we calculate precisely. Our goal is to minimize and offset all of our CO2 emissions.
#3 TOWARDS ZERO WASTE
Our first vehicles are still rolling after 6 years of existence, thanks to our bet on developing scooters that are 100% repairable. We work with trusted partners for the reconditioning of our used batteries and the maximum recovery of unavoidable waste. Our goal is to reuse and recycle 100% of vehicles and their spare parts while ensuring high quality and safety.
#4 TO THE LOCAL
We seek to bring production closer to our activities, to limit as much as possible transport distance, handling and packaging, but also to ensure compliance with high environmental and social standards. This progressive strategy started with the battery pack and the motor controller, manufactured and purchased in Germany, and continues with the purchase of our scooters in the Parisian region.
#5 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AWARENESS
Beyond our mobility service, we make our employees and riders aware of the principles of sustainable development, through in-house training and through the interactivity of our application. We are proud of our community's commitment to strong social and environmental values.
